Guest guest
Priya Bhagavat Banduvullara, VOICE OF THE RISHIS - 12 APAVITRAH PAVITROVA - Marjana Sloka - Sandhyavandan Every day at the commencement of the prayer, this vedic text must be chanted, meaning " LET THE IMPURITIES TURN PURE. LET ME BE CLEAN WITHIN AND WITHOUT AND LET ME BE PURE IN ALL ASPECTS OF MY LIFE, AS i CHANT THE NAME OF THE LORD (PUNDAREEKAAKSHA) HERE " This is the evocative text making the aspirant feel pure externally and internally and this state to be achieved by uttering the Lord's name. Impurities to be vanished and replaced by pure condition both in body, mind and in environment forms the main inaugural text of obeisance in the Vedic Prayer. The main aspect of the prayer requires our attention that external cleanliness and also a clean state of mind internally are the two essential factors stressed here. One without the other, will not bring forth the complete picture envisaged. A clean body and a clean mind are given equal emphasis to communicate with the Lord through a prayer.
