Guest guest
PRIYA BHAGAVAT BANDUVULLARA! VOICE OF THE RISHIS - 20 ACHAARYA ABHINOTHI Acharya, the Guru, or the teacher knows (abhinothi). Later " Swayam Aachareth " , he puts the known knowledge into practice himself. And finally Acharath sthaapayathi, he establishes the knowledge. These are the three aspects of a Guru. Acharya Abinothi: The teacher learns a thing swayam Aachareth: Himself puts the knowledge into practice Aaachare Sthapayathi: Establishes the knowledge as a faculty. The teacher by dint of study and relentless practice learns several branches of knowledge and acquires the skills. Some to show off their greatness, to get praise in conferences and meetings, they use some quotes with slokas, extempore, and make people confused. That is the reason, Adi Sankara cautioned " SABDAJALAM MAHARANYAM, CHITTA BRANAKARANAM. However Sadguru first puts to test the knowledge he has thus acquired with untiring effort. This practical knowledge with its results enables him to satisfy himself about the certainty of the truths he has learnt. After the above two phases the teacher sets on the course of giving them permanence (Sthapayathi). He propagates the truths through his disciples, establishes schools of learning on the basis of the fund of knowledge, acquired or write books on the subject and adopts several means available in giving a permanent form to the knowledge lest it should be lost in time, in a neglected state. The three phases of learning and the propagation of the knowledge still hold its way in the present day world.
