Guest guest
Liberation is natural See Brothers, objects (things), persons and actions - these three things are perceived. Of these three, the objects and actions are in Nature (Prakruti) and that body which is seen in manifested form is also Nature; but " That " which is within and unchanging is a part of Paramatma (God). Now if " That " does not become tangled in things, actions and individuals, than " That " is naturally free; because " That " is veritably a part of Paramatma (God). It has been said - " That " is " chetan amal, sahaj, sukh raashi " That is " consciousness, pure, free of any impurities, eternal and naturally blissful. Instead of seeing towards That great blissful Self, That begins to want worldly pleasures and relations. This is the main mistake. He has become trapped in happiness derived from union. Just like being pleased on getting money, and becoming happy on getting food, and getting pleasure from sense enjoyments; and becoming delighted on getting clothes, things, respect-honor etc. This is a very surprising thing! The Self is eternally and constantly present. " Sahaj Sukh Raasi " means that the Self is naturally blissful; but here there is a misconception, that on acquiring worldly objects one becomes happy. But these will surely leave you " Sanyoga viprayogaantaah " . All that contact born pleasure and pleasure from union will not remain, how can it? Man does not think ! Has any pleasure derived from union and contact born remained until now? None remained. We have already seen a sample of pleasures resulting from union; however we are still not alerted and we want to take the enjoyment in sense pleasures. Till we takes pleasure from external relations and from contact and union with them, till then we will not get innate joy. " Baahyasparshavyasa ktatma " (Gita 5/21). He who is not infatuated or attracted to external pleasures (pleasures from sense contact/union) , for him " vindtyaatmani yatsukham " that extraordinary joy will be attained on it's own. By taking pleasure from relationships in this world, the natural / innate joy is lost. It is not true happiness, but " That " became separated from the real joy. Those who attained that joy became blissful. They no longer desired worldly pleasures whatsoever. Because no other joy compares to that innate joy and bliss that they received. " That " though being naturally blissful, it desires contact born pleasures. It becomes delighted by worldly enjoyments. This is a very surprising thing. It becomes pleased by the happiness that comes from meeting and departing. You " Yourself " remain, and this happiness comes and goes, then how will you be satisfied with that which comes and goes? You are That which remains and That Paramatma within you remains. If you go with The Paramatma that remains, then you will be eternally joyful. That joy will never come to an end. If you take happiness from the body that is born and later perishes, and the objects that meet and later depart, then how long will that happiness last? The saints have said that such futility of this mind. " Parihari Ram-Bhagati sur-sarita " God's devotion, leaving Gangaji " aas karat os kanaki " at night when there is frost on the leaves and grass which shines, with that frost you want to be satisfied. The point is that God's devotion in the form of the Gangaji is flowing away. To think you will get happiness from a son, to get pleasure from respect and greatness, to get pleasure from being free of disease, etc, to desire happiness from contact born pleasures. You are searching happiness in all these objects. You are wandering after them. These are nothing but the morning frost which will quickly disappear. Brothers! The morning frost is shining in various forms, but even with the slightest sun rays at dawn, they all disappear. They will dry up, then how will you be satisfied with these? How can thirst be quenched by dew drops? If you desire real happiness, then turn towards Paramatma. Accept your relationship with Paramatma.
