Guest guest
Earth Day, celebrated every year on 22nd April, stands for awareness about the environment and calls for active participation from everyone to save the Earth from its impending doom. This year, to have more people realize the urgency of the matter and participate in the endeavor, we're asking each one of us to CHANGE. This `change' is implied in the changing Earth and how we can address the issue by changing our ways positively. Earth Day brings to light the changes that have been brought about in the world by mankind, while emphasizing on the fact that it is `Time to Change'. Earth Day implies that a change in our attitude and actions will lead to a better future for our planet. This change can start right at home with a conscious decision to recycle waste, in the office with a decision to use a ceramic mug instead of a plastic or a Styrofoam cup or by reducing paper wastage; it can begin while we shop by using a cloth hand-bag instead of plastic bags. This Earth Day, let us all pledge to do our bit to address the issue by changing our ways positively.
