VOICE OF THE RISHIS – 35 KASTAAVAD VEDA TADADBHUTAM " Who can understand (Kastavaad Veda????)That wonder (tat adbhutam)?. This Vedic text from Rig-Veda, the oldest one in the chronological order of the Vedas expresses great surprise at the wonderful ways of the creation. And this questions again who can understand the mysterious nature of His creation. This great enquiry of man in his pristine glory, enjoying the wonderful ways of the Lord's creation, holds good even to this day. Our eyes ears, mind and other physical senses prove futile in understanding the hidden secrets of the world and the man remains baffled at the ways of the Lord's creation. The mysterious cosmos ever remain inscrutable, `who can understand the mysterious world: " Kastavaad Veda tat adbhutam? " is a question that knows no answer, while man tries to understand the secret of one factor of the universe, or the other, another surprising baffling phenomenon surges up. This is a perennial wonder to man. The more man knows, the more remains unknown to him. The world is an ever intriguing mystery which remains beyond the reach of man. " Who can understand the mysterious world? " is rhetoric sweet and pregnant in its import. This Vedic text also reveals how poetic the people were in Vedic ages.
