You will not be able to gauge the amount of thrill and depth of my

greatfulness to the person like you who,not being even an Indian concerns

that much about Hinduism.

 

I may not be able to satisfy you by putting my views about the desolate

and neglected status of Hinduism in our own country but there may surely

be many of my brothers in our group who will put forth their views and

concerns about the same.

 

I will cite a very interesting episode what has happened resently.

 

There is a Bi-weekly " Panchjanya " published by one of the Hindu

Minded organisation called Rastriya Swayamsewak Sangh .This

organisation is constantly crisised by Congress ,Left parties and

other western minded people.

 

This news magazine has published an article on one of the candidate

for the post of president of India Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.This article

highlighted the qualities of Dr. Kalam that he, even being a muslim ,

studies Gita and is also a Ram follower .

 

This article has fanned the big contoversy in India that RSS is trying

to Hinduise Dr. Kalam .While this Magazine was only trying to present the

true picture of Dr. Kalam which was completely away from any vested

interest.

Indian history tells us that prominent saints Abdul Rahim Khankhana,

Mohammad Raskhan belonged from Muslim community who were followers

of Ram and Krishna

 

Verses of Rahim are still very popular ,Mohammad Raskhan`s poems

about Lord Krishna`s childhood are being taught in Universities of India

and are subject of study among research scholars.These Muslim saints were

greatly admired in the strict regims of Muslim rulers but in the current

Indian

situation it becomes the point of criticism and opposition.

 

I hope that the group members will try to demoralise these acts .
