Guest guest
Interesting visitor from Africa. Today a Mr Pindolia who is the president of Hindu council of Africa came to see us. He seems to have developed good links with the United Nations and is involved in the Anti-Aids programme run by them. Recently he invited Swami Shardanandaji of the South Africa Centre to participate at a conference held in Nairobi. Swami Shardanandaji's talk was considered to be the most popular : ) Apparently, this gentleman is successful in setting up the Anti- Aids clinics (working in the name of Hinduism but open to all) for the United Nations in some of the African countries and is keen to develop similar schemes in other countries - specially in India, Mauritius and the Caribbean countries. He was looking for leads. He confirmed that he will rely on the Ramakrishna movement for guidance (as far as India is concerned) and will try and contact Swami Krishnanandji in Mauritius. We will offer him some leads for the Caribbean countries. jay Vivekananda Centre London
