Dear RD,

There is nothing " weak " in surrender. A weakling has

nothing to surrender. Actual surrender begins where

self effort ends. The bird in Thakurs parables

surrenders only after it has flown to all the four

directions and not found land.

More on this thread please,

Regards

Jagannath.

Namaste,

Thakur used to refer to two types of devotees - those who have

the temperaments of kittens, and those who are like the monkey

infants!

The kittens trust their mothers to keep them wherever they

chose; the monkeys clung on to the mothers no matter where!

Latu Maharaj perhaps exemplified the kitten, and Sw.

Vivekananda the latter!

Arjuna would be like the 'monkey' [judged by the questions he

asked], who switched to being the 'kitten' at the end!!

Regards,

Sunder
