Guest guest
It is said about Abraham Lincoln that one day on his way to his office, he saw a pig stuck in the mud. The pig continued to struggle but just kept sinking further into the mud. It kept squealing and struggling. Abraham Lincoln, got out of his coach and helped the pig out of its predicament. He was covered in mud when he arrived at his office. When the people in the office found out what had happened they praised him, " You are very compassionate, " they told him. " Nothing of the sort " , said the president, " I just could not bear to see the pig undergoing so much pain - in order to relieve my misery I had to do something. That is all I did - remove my misery " . This is the way of operating in this world - teaches Vedanta - with sincerity and humility.
