Guest guest
Dear friends, I recently attended a workshop/lecture series on Raj Yoga organised by one of the branches of a well-known group of sisters, active in social work as well as spiritual awakening. However I was extremely disappointed after the first class, since I didnt at all seem to be convinced what they were teaching about God and realising Him. Is it that I am dogmatic/bigoted? I am a firm 'advaitin' and couldn't accept stories/theories about the Lord being up-above beyond the ethereal space etc.......and also theories about devis-devtas and the end of the world. Theories about there being no 'moksha' whatsoever for even realised souls. I would be obliged to hear feedback from members and also references for reading on Raj Yoga. I have come across many books on Yoga but it is this book that seems to be perhaps the most comprehensive on this topic. You should be able to get one book from one of the local Vedanta Centres. (full list on our home page http://www.vivekananda.co.uk/home.htm). Happy reading. jay
