Guest guest
Cloning would be no different. Every clone is a different soul though externally all may look same. Every life form is a different soul and thus has its own set of karma patterns and spiritual evolution. If a person were to clone himself, he wouldnt become the other person. He identifies himself with his old body only, its another soul which inhabits the clone. Vinay Faith Hill - Exclusive Performances, Videos, more faith. Guest guest
I am not sure if I have understood this business of getting different soul by cloning of a given body. The soul, or better, Atman, which is of the nature of Consciousness and which is the same as Brahman, is always singular, not plural. Is your soul different from mine? There is only one sun but there is an appearance of many 'suns' that seem to move about, mingle with each other, appear and disappear from time to time. In the same way the same ultimate reality is shinning out through many bodies - the term used for each such manifestation is 'embodied soul' - jivatma - there are many such manifestations.. jay
Guest guest
Dear Umesh, I think what Jay/Prashant and others mean is the subtle body and the bundle of sanskars (mental impressions while in the body through ones karma). This entity moves from one body to another and is loosely termed as the soul. It is definitely different in case of each and everyone. If cloning (and its attendant ills) becomes a reality it is because we have allowed it to happen by our karma. As we sow so we reap.
