Guest guest
The Vivekananda Centre London continues to expand its activities in the field of Hindu Education through talks, seminars, meetings etc. These activities are conducted either through school assemblies or through seminars for Religious Education teachers or through encounter with people from other faiths. At the moment a series of talk is taking place at Guys campus - King's College London focusing on Science and Hinduism. From time to time we feel we that we have broken new ground. Let us share one such experience with you. Last night (26th November) a session was arranged by the London Interfaith Centre on the theme of: 'Understanding Hinduism'. The session took place in a mainstream Anglican Church. A few years ago such a programme would be unimaginable! A hundred people including many Anglican clergy attended the event. We are building bridges between faith communities - touching the hearts of many sincere devotees from other faiths.
