Guest guest
Dear Brad...... one response to your interesting comments regarding source of authority in religious order came as follows:- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is no parallel to " papal infallibility " in the Ramakrishna Order. I would broadly agree with the position taken by Mr. Stephan. Regarding the last sentence of his comment, I would add that one should be ready to lend one's ears to what others have to say and that as mind evolves so conceptions in respect of subtle truths also get modified. A person may attain to the status of the vehicle for the propagation of a Master's message to a degree his or her life reflects the life of the Master.
