Guest guest
Dear Jagannath: Thank you for your excellent, historical explanation! Now, for those who did not personally encounter Ramakrishna to believe, it requires the act of faith -- as it does for the other Avatars, such as Christ. As Thakur said, "He who has faith has all, and he who lacks it lacks all." Sayings #501. Now, the challenge is, "What/who to have faith in?" I suppose our Karma determines this for us. Jai Ramakrishna, Brad Namaste Brad, As Christ had disciples to pass on the knowledge and training based on experience so did Ramakrishna, the unbroken passing on of the experience expressed in the Vedas is present today in the Swamis of various orders and faith becomes a matter of trust in the teacher as well as trust in the student. From the viewpoint of karma it would be based on past experience. Kanda
