Guest guest
Hi Friends, I have been the member of this group from long back, i wish to discuss something I know about Karma Yoga, let me start Off saying What is the Difference Between Karma and Karma Yoga? as every one knows Yoga is a practise or a sacrifice (not the exactly the verbal meaning) . Every one on this earth is bounded by Karma whethere it is a Good karma or a Bad Karma, also it is sometimes very difficult to differentiate these two because even while differentiating we need to have a very good knowledge...., So Krishna in Bhagwad Gita asks us to do Karma Yoga rather than mere Karma..., then what should we do...here lies the question? all Karma should be submitted to the floral feet of LORD KRISHNA, as we all know that we have the right on Karma but donot have the right on fruits of Karama, it is better we offer all our Karmas ( Good and Bad ) to HIM, let HE take care of our Fruits and Karmas, by this we achieve the bottom line knowledge of Karma Yoga!! I wish to mention that what ever I have written are all the thoughts of Sri Vivekananda which I guess have conveyed in a simpler way............. Yoga is Union of the Jiva with Parama. Karma Yoga is action done with this knowledge in mind all the time. This means that we are doing actions, but without the expectations of the results. So whatever we do, we do it for God. We should not be doing it for our own selfish purposes. Om Tat Sat Guru Venkat The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo. Guest guest
What is the difference between a karmi and a karma yogi? Swami Prabhavanandaji gave us an answer to this years ago: When you just " work " , no matter how well or how hard, you are just a " karmi " ; when you work with a part of the mind always dwelling on God (or the Self), when there is an inward current kept up (as in japa), then you can be called a karma yogi.
