Guest guest
Dear List Let us share some of our experiences in London. Today has been a very satisfactory day. The main Government based employment agency groups - JobCentrePlus and Working Links had organised a breakfast meeting in the heart of the London Business World (Canary Wharf) and had invited some of the major employers to meet up and listen to a presentation of "Faith in Business". Two faiths were represented:- Islam and Hinduism. As usual we dished out a bit of Vivekananda's teachings on the theme of 'Spiritual unfolding via Secular success'. By the grace of our mentor the talk was well received. One of the interesting outcomes was that this presentation seems to have made a serious impression on the head of this organisation, who also happens to be the head of the London Chamber of Commerce. He has told us that he wants us to offer a talk of this nature to the London Chamber of Commerce. How will Vivekananda's material be received by the London Chamber of Commerce - 'a highly commercial bunch'? We don't know, we wait and see. : ) jay Vivekananda Centre London
