Guest guest
Dear Devotees, Whenever Revered Swami Lokeswaranandaji Maharaj, then Secretary of RKMIC, used to visit Bhubaneswar he used to narrate his experiences wherein the foreign countries he used to visit to spread the word, had already been infused by the teachings of Thakur. He used to say in jest, " Amra jekhanei jai na keno, giye dekhi je Budo tar ageyi adda gede bosechche " ; wherever we go we find that the old man has already established himself there. Particularly touching was his experience in post glasnost Russia. At the invitation of the Russian Government (read Gorbachov) Lokeswaranandaji had been to Moscow to open a Vivekananda Institute. To his utter surprise he found that there already existed a group of Ramakrishna devotees. On being asked, the following story was narrated; A machinery export from India contained in it's paper packing a few pages of the Kathamrita. The person who read those pages was thrilled and clandestinely (organised religion was banned in Russia) made photocopies and distributed among like minded friends. Not content with those few pages, the group secretly smuggled Ramakrishna literature from India and shared them with others. Soon there was a considerable following whose prayers were answered when Swami Lokeswaranandaji visited Moscow. So those of us who delight in spreading Thakur's message should feel humble as we are only the instruments. Thakur is doing His own job. Regards, Jagannath.
