Dear Jay,An additional point to consider in our conversation about women's orders within the Ramakrishna Movement.As you may know, Sr. Devamata was considered by the Direct Disciples to be a member of the Order. We have letters from them confirming this and she always considered herself to be a part

of the Order throughout her lifetime. (She died in 1952.)Swami Paramananda had an order of women, trained and supervised by Sister Devamata,
