As per this calendar the Deepawali is on 25th Oct whereas here in

Singapore it is on 23rd Oct which is public holiday here. Any

confirmation on this? Thanks a lot. Kishor Butani, Singapore

Dear Kishor

The Hindu calendar we are using shows Diwali on Saturday 25th of

October. We will ask some of our list members if they can throw more

light on this ambiguity?
