Guest guest
A rail link to Belur Math is certainly good news. I hope the reporter had done some research and not made the erroneous statement of Sri Ramakrishna having lived at the Belur Math. (Or may be he/she is correct and realized Sri Ramakrishna living in his sukshma sharira at the Belur Math! Sri Ramakrishna did say that he would live wherever Swami Vivekananda kept him.) Dakshinehwar, where Sri Ramakrishna lived and did his sadhana, has a train station since many years. (Though a rail enthusiast myself, I do not know when it was opened - some one could enlighten me.) As regards, Sri Ramakrishna's place of birth, Kamarpukur, I believe Tarakeshwar continues to be the nearest rail head. Sincerely, Partha Sinha
