Guest guest
In my trivial realization what i find most attractive and unique in sri ramakrishna is his strong dislike and hatred towards egocentrism. In one of his conversations in dakshineshwar on the issue of girish ghose's insult to him, the master didn't pay any attention to the instigating remarks which one of his follower threw to the sinful act of girish, the day before, in the star theatre.the master quitely replied that it was nice on girish's part to pull him out, otherwise overeating could have ruined his stomach.the follower was astonished by the fact that thakur, instead of feeling angry, is trying to save girish.at this the master replied that " abhiman er goraae chhai dite hobe " which means that it is necessary to give ashes at the foundation of ego. And it is this ego which is responsible for major disturbances in the world as a whole.from a single individual to the whole nation everyone is boiling in respective egos. If we could leave our petty egos and could say " o.k my friend, you are right, you are great , you are good " instead of " i'm right, i'm great, i'm good " , then and only then i think clashes will turn into brotherhood. A branch with fruit always bend while an empty one always soars high. Jai MA,Jai THAKUR sourav.
