Guest guest
From SRV Association. ---------- -------------------- Dear friends, In partial answer to Sourav's dilemma, we have this to offer: ....that it is to be remembered as well that Thakur Sri Ramakrishna's egoless state generally kept Him from moving out and about to teach others - at least on the physical level and in accordance with His life and how its energies were to be utilized. But He stated that " Naren's very bones will teach men. " He often talked about the " ego of a teacher " and declared its efficacy in the task of awakening spiritually slumbering beings to their true nature. " One needs a sword, dagger, shield and additional weapons to kill other warriors, but a pin-knife will suffice to kill oneself " means in part that a certain nature is wanted and required in a teacher who must effectively mingle with the masses, confronting the various tasks, temperaments and situations in modern cultures today. Swamiji was thus perfectly oriented and suited for this work, as predestined by the Mother of the Universe, his " especial " ideal. Kindly send this on.
