Guest guest
Dear Sriram, Namaskar. I agree with ur opinion. But my Guruji always tells me that mind gets bored if it dwells on one type of Sadhana. So, we need to give variety to it so that it will not get bored with Spirituality. That's why we need to do Japa for some time of the day so that the repetition of the Lord's name will make our mind pure along with allowing us to control it. Since we can't sit long meditating, we can take up reading his leela's and teachings. Bhajan also, if done for long hours leaves us exhausted and then we might crave for some sermon for an enlightened one. So, we need to do Japam for purifying our mind and what better path exists than reciting his holy name in the form of japa. Urs in Lord, Prasad.
