When an immoral person or someone who is not yet ready for liberation takes a dip in the Ganges river, his sins do leave him when he is in the river and take refuge in a tree. As soon as he gets out of water, his sins fall back on him. Who knows who gets liberated and who does not? Our job is to take refuge in the name of Sri Ramakrishna and leave everything up to Him.
