Guest guest Posted November 22, 2003 Report Share Posted November 22, 2003 Hello, I think i liked the suggestion of one reader who told to imagine the plight of srirama.Everyone has to pass the stage where nothing seems to work out and everything is falling apart.Should we just surrender without even offering a fight?I think this is where our faith is put to test.Many-a-times we slip into this mode when everything seems to work that we love god unconditionally and may be our intentions are high....but when situation changes we feel the reality. I know this since i did the same mistakes and may be do them again, if im put to a test.Also, we are closer to god when we are in miseries...we are afraid of papa and do all other austerities to please him..This is kind of his way telling us to put more faith on him.Do we think we will be in this state forever??NO..just as we cannot have night forever so will the gloomy days end and the happy days begin again..These unhappy times should teach us to remember god and not to forget him once the danger leaves us..After all we are his children and no matter what happens the child should always love his parents,just as the parent does. ===== Everyone makes mistakes, but very few learn from them.
