Guest guest
The reply is in reference to Mrs Suma Gopal's message. I'm from Andhra pradesh and well we do have some swamiji's giving lectures on bhagavadgita, bhagavata etc, though not on a daily basis.I donno how apt it would be to take classes in temples on religion. I think love for god should come from within but not by taking classes. There are satsangs which encourage people to participate in divine discussions and prayers. The important thing is these satsang's are formed on the will and accord of people and are funded by themselves. I personally think there is no advantage of having a single book or viceversa.Books are a means of understanding god and developing love for him. Simply knowing the name of my holy book or reading a holy BOOK does not create love for god unless we induce those principles in our daily life. Guest guest
In reply to subash Gutatla............... It is right that we should have the desire to learn about our religion but he misses a point that if someone ask him a question what is Hindu religion what reply he would have. the basics of the religion are to be defined and the meaning of aartis and pujas are to be explained. this type of education is to be given to children who have to carry the religion for future. Look at the other religions they teach children what Aslam or christianity is. by going to temple and looking at the rituals and watching the priest chanting will never teach our children what Hinduism is.
