published paper which demolishes the myth that caste

system is intrinsic to Hinduism. This may be of some

help to those who are effectively combating the

influence of " hereditary " casteist thinking.

May I add here, that there is a fairly explicit and lucid explanation on this matter in "The Hindu View of Life" Dr S Radhakrishnan- Harper Collins India Publishers. Chp 4, under "Hindu Dharma 2"...perhaps it would throw some more light on this matter.
