Guest guest
Namaste: Sri Yukteswar (Yogananda's Guru) in Holy Science says that we become Sons of God upon being baptized into the Holy AUM vibration. However, the Bible depicts Christ as the only Son of God. I'd like to reconcile this. Comments are welcome.
Guest guest
The bible says Christ is the only son of God, Ramayana says Rama , Mahabharata says Krishna, Vishnu Puran says Vishnu is the only God , Devi Geeta says Kali. I think a for a wise man all this does makes sense. Because " faith " is the key. All sayings like these have been said to create undettered faith in the devotee, that is what Thakur said. He said that to fall in the pot of divine nectar is the objective. What type of means was, does not matter at all...whether we fall into it by chance whether we were pushed by someone else or whether we found it by our own hard work. So from a devotional perspective it seems that to create " faith " in the practitioner, Bible says so..for after realising Jesus he would know the real truth that God is everyones own dear Father not a copyright of Jesus or Krishna. Infact thats what they came to teach, they were themeselves God incarnations , Avatars. Their physical form was just a container that contains God, for they had no personal " ego " .Like Ramakrishna said the ego of an Avatar is just to sustain the body for teaching. Within the Avatar resides the Father himself. Swami Yukteswarji has his own interpretation of God for he was a god realised and his followers should believe in whatever he said. People from other followings (like me!) may have the right to agree or disagree but again while doing so one should understand well that this agreement or disagreement is valueless for none of us has realised God. Let the person who has tasted the divine nectar, who has realised God, Jesus or Krishna let us hear their words and let us not add on anything or interpret it from our ignorant minds. Reconcilation for statements like these is only in direct " realisation " rather than thinking and correlationg ideas in our minds because all these spring from ignorance rather than direct knowledge. So if Yukeswar Ji said those words it is the duty of his followers to experience such baptisation and then add comments. Pranams, Sriram. Guest guest
DEAR ALL, i have pondered a bit on sayings by great sages/saints on the following lines: i will be reborn ... times within such period i will reappear as so & so after such no. of years i will transform into so & so..... i will do my work through so & so (another person) and other similar utterances i wonder whether these are more of inspired momentous utterences por a very scietifically proven ones. can one prove or get convinced that whatever they have stated has happended or have they become such and such persons, etc.. ?? i mean is there room for any scientific quering into these or whehter one has to believe them fully at face vale. or are these statemnts baseless, but made with good intentiosn to guide the people on ritht paths ? also there are soem who have made/are making these statements more to seek popularity, amterial gains and other worldly possessions. i would be thankful to be enlightened with possibly some instances, illustrations, etc. on thsi subject. thanks om shree bhagwan ramakrishnayate namah chellamani New Photos - easier uploading and sharing.
