Guest guest
Recent discussion on our list about the when will Sri Ramakrishna return, brings to mind the incident in the life of Sri Ramana Maharshi. When he was breathing his last, a devotee implored Ramana, " Please do not leave us. " To this he graciously replied, " Where can I go? " Same can be said of Sri Ramakrishna, where can he go? He is eternally tied up with us all. How can we think that he has ever left us - so how can we ask when will he return? jay Vivekananda Centre London
Guest guest
Jay, Thank you very much for your excellent comment , this is precisely the point. I do not think he never left us, He always guide true spritual seekers towards their goal (it is only that we can't see Him with our material eyes). He is our DIVINE Spritual master. --- Vivekananda Centre <vivekananda wrote: > Recent discussion on our list about the when will > Sri Ramakrishna > return, brings to mind the incident in the life of > Sri Ramana Maharshi. > > When he was breathing his last, a devotee implored > Ramana, > " Please do not leave us. Guest guest
Well I remember my childhood days and let me use it as an analogy. I am in my room and my mom in the kitchen cooking some breakfast for me!?. Is she with me - NO - she is in kitchen. Ok has she left me ? - NO - she is just in another room of the house!. Ok say its morning time..I might be still sleeping, my younger brother might be awake but still lazily lying down on his bed and my elder borther may be already awake and busy getting ready - none of us has yet seen mother this morning!. These are all different states. Some may hear mothers call and other need her to come down and wake them up. On days I am really lazy and sleeping my Mom would come in and wake me up and say " come on get up its late ..wake up " . I guess Ramakrishna exists just like our spiritual Mother and we his kids live here on earth in this life, its our room. And there are bhaktas each in a different state and so its a different need for each of them and for some his coming might not be needed, for some it may!. But I say whatever state we may be..who did not like when Mom came to our room and caressed us and " wake " us up and even if we are awake she would come and talk with us or just listen to our nonsense --- " Mom you know I dreamt I was a superman!!! " .. " Mom where are my brothers? " ..she says " Oh they woke up before you..but you are a lazy lazy boy...now get up and ready for school!! " ...So we all are Thakur's children and key is to have childlike faith in Thakur!!?
