Guest guest
Dear Devotees, Here is a question that is applicable to many of us,I believe. I love devotional topics very much and whenever I am free from material worries I think and talk of transcendental topics. But as soon as a problem, slightest of its kind arises, I simply become an ordinary ignorant and get disturbed. I think of Rama and joyfully sing his glories when material success comes, but when sorrow arises I simply become exhausted and cry to Rama to relieve me from material pain. How to maintain a perfect balance and unalloyed devotion during times of difficuty? New Photos - easier uploading and sharing.

Guest guest
The challenge all living beings face is the delusionary energy of God, or Maya. The Bible calls this Adversary, Satan, but it is the same idea. It is that we have to face many difficult challenges, and so it seems God carefully offers us time to think of Him free from delusionary influence, but then, due to our karma, and also the Transcendal Wisdom of God, we must once again suffer materially or in some other way. But that suffering is not necessarily punishment, it is a challenge to us to once again review our lives, and become ever more mindful of the interactive reality of action and reaction, or karma. So, what is happening is that we are all in the process of awakening to Absolute Consciousness, but it is not easy for anyone. The best of humanity suffered in their endeavors to raise planetary consciousness: Krishna, Buddha, Christ, Ghandi, and many others. My recommendation, based on personal experience, is to limit one's interaction with others who care not to know God. Love them in prayer, because they can really kick up the waters, so to speak. Spend alot of time alone in prayer and meditation, so when you do interact with the world, you are centered in God, and not maya. Guest guest
Beloved Sir, As long as we are attached to the body, which is considered to be a mass of flesh and bones, pleasures and pains bring ephemeral joy and temporary misery. But there could be any occassion that would be a serious thunder bolt and inevitable moments in life. The only way is to learn spirituality from the Masters like Sri Rama Krishna and his great disciples and the chase the devil of illusion that keeps our conciousness troubled. Take up the name of Rama. Keep the name of Rama with every breath. Keep the name of Rama during every waking moment--no matter what. I knew someone who did this. He could not keep the name while having a conversation with someone; but at all other times he would do so. He found that he could perform very complex tasks at work and still keep the name. As soon as he would awaken in the morning and before he got out of bed he would begin. He would continue until he went to sleep at night. After about a year his mind became totally still and he merged into that vast silent consciousness. I am afraid that without this degree of devotion a person will make only scant progress. Keep the name of Rama during every waking > moment--no matter what. > The challenge of become God or Self Realized is that, especially for many, God is related to " good " and the " devil " is the culprit for " the bad. " But we need to remember that good and bad are all relative. So, when we chant a mantra always, we begin to associate all things with God, or Brahman, thereby breaking the false illusion of duality. This intuitively seems to be the reason why this master said to recite " Rama " . I myself prefer the sacred syllable OM, which is all inclusive for all forms of God (e.g. deities) as well as formless. Nonetheless, we need to realize that there is nothing besides the Self. Whether it be a tiger, a butterfly, a criminal, or a saint, it is the Self only that exists. Comments welcome. Om shanti.
