Guest guest
Dear Pradip, From the health and sattwic point of view it is always better to cut down on meat eating. This is an universally applicable fact.Meat contains fat and uric acid which creates a lot of problems. Moreover the juices in the human stomach are primarily suited for vegetarian food. In the upanishads we have it that the human soul on its way to rebirth comes to rest in the corn, which when eaten forms the sperm. So the corn is more important than flesh. Regarding dharma and adharma, this is according to the rule of the land. We cannot have blackbucks for food in India, for example. And again some religions forbid meat eating. Regards Jagannath.
