Hari OM. Dear Friend, Mantra diksha is given by Guru to his shishya. This tradition is very important in Vaishnava and North Indian traditions. In south india, this tradition has less grip now. The Guru usually try to give the mantra which will help his student to progress in spiritual life faster according to his Vaasanas ( mental impressions). But now a days not many students have time to serve and wait for the Guru to initiate him. Vaisnavash's principle is to initiate the baktha by doing Pancha Samskaara and giving him Dvaiyam and charamaslokam. By this you accept Lord Sriman Narayana has your ISHTA and confined to your Guru and his teachings, philoshopy, tradition, etc.,

Initially, Sri Ramakrishna Math Guru's provided the mantras according to the deciples vaasana's. But this has been stopped due to various reasons and now they give one mantra for all, whcih is Sri ramakrishna Mantra. This now like the vaishnava's principle and you see and accept sri ramakrishna as your ishta and worship him as sarva deva devi sawroopa.

Read Gospel and life history of sri ramkrishna trio's and decide. The mantra has to be taken only from the Guru. So I can't spell it out here the mantra.

Good Luck.
