Guest guest
Hello friends, I have a small question and I would really appreciate if someone could help me out with it. I understand that we are bound by maya and are ignorant. I constantly feel the need to extricate myself from this bondage. But my question is why did we have to take birth in this world of maya. If God is all powerful then he must have surely seen how people would misuse the free will he has given to them and cause harm to others and themselves. How can this world be a playground to him and the workings of this world a game with so much evil/suffering in it. First bonding us in maya and then requiring us to suffer through a series of rebirths, before finally uniting with Him because it is a game for Him doesn't sound like what a kind and merciful God would do. I know these views open up a lot of questions, some of which probably have been already discussed on this group but my only doubt is that I see I am suffering but I don't see a need of God to get rid of this suffering. At present Bhuddhist ideology is making more sense to me ( which seeks to end suffering without any belief in God) but I find myself absolutely incapable of giving up the belief in God, that I have grown up with and is so dear to me. I would really appreciate if someone could show me the direction of where I will find the right answer for this question. I also apologize if I have offended someone with my views.
