Guest guest
Dear Ratna, It might not be possible to prove the existence of every single fact of epics. But as Sri Ramakrishna says " if you cannot belive in Sri Krishna and Sri Radha, atleast belive in the " love " between them " . So similarily Ramayana and mahabharata and Bible and many other epics, have so many stories, which may seem imaginative, but have a deep ideals and purpose and are highly utilististic tools for spiritual realisation. From the point of view of our mind and brain - Reality - is a collection of information. But only some of this information is actually useful for our purpose of God realisation. For example we read so many many useless news in newspapers and TV and all they serve is to generate bad emotions and mental conditions in us. So however much these news are true they are useless or rather harmful for spirituality. Similarily however much the epic stories seem myhtical and imaginative, they are so very much useful for spiritual growth and realisation, thats why they are far more 'valuable' than the 'truest' of facts!. Guest guest
Dear Sriram Popuri, Thank you so much for your explanation. You have a lot of valid points. I suppose, in the end, it is the faith that leads us toward our goal - that is self-realization. Best regards.
