The problems you are dealing with are well discussed in the book SPIRITUAL

PRACTICE by Ananda, available from vedanta.com The author points out the

difficulties of trying to live a pure life when one is not part of a

community of others dedicated to the same ideal. Also, I believe, from my

own experience, that the pleasures of sense-contact can hardly ever be

renounced until there is the grace, either from God or from Guru, of a

taste of the higher bliss.
