Guest guest
Dear Friends, What I like best about this group is that " practical " discussions often take place. This should be. Sharing is a very great experience. I am a bachelor aged 43 years. My battle began early enough, even prompting me to stay away from the sadhus of the math in my early days. But one day I read an incident in the life of Raja Maharaj. A very sincere devotee used to visit him regularly. That devotee committed a heinous mistake and stopped coming to the Math. Then one day he visited the temple and tried to sneak out. Raja Maharaj accosted him and the following interesting dialogue took place; Maharaj : " Have you seen bullocks with big horns? " Devotee : " Yes Maharaj " Maharaj : " When flies sit on those horns does the bullock feel anything? " Devotee : " No Maharaj " Maharaj : " Remember we sadhus are like the horns of the bullocks " The Devotee understood and resumed his regular visits. I too understood that it was foolish of me not to bask in the holy atmosphere of the Math. About the urge, after 40, I'll say it comes down a lot. But I'm a bachelor I can't say about married people. But after 40 comes the loneliness and that's another strong enemy I tell you. Life is never easy brothers. Regards, Jagannath.
