Guest guest
Pranams to all, why Lord Krishna chose Arjuna instead of Bhishma for Gita Upadesh Bhishma is the one who controlled his body and mind well ,a great warrior and also great devotee. (As far as i know) The only thing i see aginst him is , he was on the wrong side(kauravas). But lord see only the soul not the other things. so my question is why Lord chose Arjuna instead of Bhishma for Gita Upadesh. Guest guest
Hello Ramanujam: Why did Krishna Choose Arjuna and not Bhishma for Githopadesham? Bhishma was a very mature person unlike Arjuna, who was puffed up with pride that he was the greatest warrior. He had too much ego. He had thought that Lord Krishna was just his friend and charioteer. So Krishna thought that he was the best candidate to receive the great spiritual message. Bhishma even knew that Kauravas would never win against Pandavas. He still wanted to be with Kauravas since they had given him his livelihood. Little did Bhishma care for the pleasures of the world. BUt Arjuna had to learn a lot just like most of us. I hope this explanation helps. --- Princess ratna <rajraniran wrote: > Great question, thank you so much for coming up with > such an interesting question.
