Yesterday on prime viewing time the BBC screened a documentary called " Silent Swami. " The documentary alleged serious sexual misconduct... Unfortunately the media everywhere " sells news " , whether true or false, thoroughly researched or not. Just as unfortunately many people look for " news " , whether true or false, thoroughly researched or not. This points out the emotional age we are in and the need to understand how everyone passes through this. It would be interesting to find out the sources of the information, the maturity of the writer, and the requirements of the BBC management to verify content. Guest guest
Dear Jay, Hinduism is 'SANATANA' and no one can destroy this religion. It is " ANANTA " and " APARA " . Western thoughts can hardly measure the real value of Hinduism. I do not think that Sai documentary will tarnish the image of Hindu philosophy and its spiritual value. It would reinforce by making people interested with Hinduism in a rather funny way. People will soon realise the true value. Let us leave it to Paramatman Narayan. Fear not my dear Jay, things will work out well at the end. Truly motivated souls are able to discriminate between " Nitya " and " Anitya " rather well. Take care.
