Guest guest
Dear List members Recently one of our list members complained that his name has been struck off our list. This can happen automatically if the computer discovers that messages sent to your mail box are 'bounced' by your server. The computer keeps tabs on how many messages get bounced before it just deletes the offending email address from the list without consulting us. It then becomes impossible to re-install the same email address on the list. We have to request the member to give us another email identity to get round this problem. If you suddenly discover that you have stopped getting messages, the likely cause may be 'messages being bounced by your server' We are generating a lot of postings at the moment. In order not to overwhelm the members with too many emails we are only posting messages we think confine themselves to the thread under discussion. If you are getting too many messages you can opt for the 'digest mode' which means you only get one email per day combining all messages for the day. regards jay
