Guest guest
Today God is being abandoned by the world because He does not seem to be doing enough for the world. SWAMI VIVEKANANDA ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thank you Bob Rose and Jay for your comments on my previous questions. They were truly enlightening. Thank you! The question ( more of a comment that invites your views - hopefully) that comes to mind when i read this excerpt is : As vedantins Swamiji was an unavowed Advaitin. And yet all his writings flit between dvaita and advaita. The in-between area is always grey for me i.e. qualified non-dualism. In this sentence he is a dvaitin. I suppose it makes sense as he is addressing ALL classes of devotees??? _______________ MSN Premium: Up to 11 personalized e-mail addresses and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-ca & page=byoa/prem & xAPID=1994 & DI=1034 & SU=http://\ hotmail.com/enca & HL=Market_MSNIS_Taglines
Guest guest
Namaste Jai Ram Yes within his words Swami Ji always addressed us all. Advaita is the end, just like Samadhi is for Yogis. It is just a word. The mind, which is all form, is dissolved in the formless, and the essence, the self, God, is what is left. Along the way our state can be described as various points, dual, with qualifications, non-dual, etc., but really it is a steady process of the mind becoming focused on what is causing it from within and the essence of that becomes it's form.
