Guest guest
Dear Friends, The Aryan invasion theory can be refuted on the following grounds; 1. The presence of the rivers Ganga, Jamuna and Saraswati in the Indian subcontinent. As we all know all great civillisations come up near big rivers. The three above being the largest in the nearby geographical area (the basin of the river Saraswati was 12 kms wide at points) it is natural that the Aryan civillisation was born here and not imported. 2. All migratory tribes fondly remember their place of origin . But there is nothing in the literature of the Aryans to suggest that they have come from a different area. Rather their literature praises the land they occupied, something a bit unnatural for invadors. 3. The Dravidians were never settlers of the North. They have always been in the South and had also access to foreign civillisations and carried on trade through the ocean routes. Their heavily tanned bodies also point out their original equatorial home. 4. India always consisted of the Aryans, the Dravidians and also the Bhils, Gonds and other tribal population who occupied the forest and hilly areas of Central India. Regards, Jagannath. It will take me some time to dig it out, however. Hafizullah
