Thanks for all your messages and before Jay puts an end to this thread let me thank you all for your clarifications.!! I was referring to the Sarat Chandra Chakravorty who was NOT Swami Saradananda. Esther Warkov was mistaken, i knew, but i also knew that others would correct the mistaken identity of hers. So as it stands i still dont know what happened to the DISCIPLE of Swami Vivekananda, until that is i get the book suggested by Girish When i do find out i will mail the LIST. Not altogehter an aside, those who have read that book (Talks With Swami Vivekananda by Sarat Chandra Chakravorty- the householder disciple ) which are recordings of his conversations with Swami Vivekananda, must surely find it fascintating how wonderful a memory he had. From what little i know, even M used to keep notes while Sri Ramakrishna spoke and would transfer those notes into his diary. SCC on the other hand, recorded Swamiji's words so precisely so wonderfully, without taking notes at the time of his conversations. And his tone during his conversations is one of wonderful humility and greatness. He is humble yet at the same time, he does not fear questioning the Swamiji. That was also the greatness of Swamiji, for the greater one is , the greater the accessibility he affords. Anyone, anyone could pay a visit to Gandhiji at his ashrama. Not so todays leaders. _______________ Designer Mail isn't just fun to send, it's fun to receive.
