Guest guest
Dear Friends, As I delve more and more into Sri Ramakrishna philosophy I am convinced that our dear old fellow was stark raving mad. But of course there was a method to his madness; he had the ability to transmit the madness into others! And this particular MAD-I virus he spread is fatal, there is simply no cure. Once contacted you are just reduced to the option of praying for help. And the most maddening part of the whole thing is that we have to pray to the person who originally infected us! This mad gentleman promises nothing! " It is Mother who holds the key " , he declares nonchalantly, " she'll decide when to feed her children. " And to say we trust this rustic lunatic! " Take the name of God, he will certainly come to your aid, what can I do?. " Grrrrr..... And our dear friend Shyam here mentions the most suitable mad devotee of his, Sri Nag Mahasaya ! This particular gentleman had once eaten a frog and climbed a tree just to keep the word of his non believer father ! He also created history by eating the plate on which prasad was served just because Holy Mother had served it to him. Superb! The mad grandson of mad Mother Kali ! Regards, Jagannath. Guest guest
Hi, I remember a verse from a Bengali song by a Kali devotee, may be Ramprasad. The gist of it is like this: My father (Siva) is a mad cap who roams around in the cremation ground with ash smeared all over him and snakes running over his necks. My mother (Uma) is mad with love for her children. What more can you expect from me, other than being mad (for Siva and Uma). Thakur likes that song a lot. With regards, Gomu.
