The following posting was received from Subbaraman. We had to

edit out the tail end of earlier message. May we remind the list

members that unless they remove the 'tail end of earlier message(s)

we will not post their messages to the list. If your messages

are not being posted ......this may be one of the reasons.

We also request members to send in 'short messages' rather

than long essays. Though in some cases this may be very

difficult. In such cases send us your message in 'instalments'

Beloved all,

Yes. I agree with Jagan. Since i joined this group i am reading nice mails

from you all. Thanks for you all.

The ego is afraid, fearful, inside, because death can happen at any moment.

In love, death can happen; in prayer, death can happen to the ego, in any

deep relationship the ego will have to die. Even if you look at a rose

without thinking, the ego will have to die. Even a rose can kill it; it is

so fragile, just flimsy, a dream-like thing -- nothing substantial about it.

You can be equal at LOVE and DEATH.Because when you are in true love, you

are treating that person / animal /etc as equal to you. Similarly death will

not differentiate between a poor and an emperor. All are same.

Self has no center, no circumference, no

meditator to meditate on a center, and no

meditation. It is very free, very fluent, very

natural and spontaneous, and has no

fatigue because there is no doership.

Doership is " I am doing this, " " I have to do

that, " " I am troubled, " " I am happy. " All

these relationships will not be there

because they are just passing through

the body. You are untouched by all of

these. You are beyond even the concept

of all of this.
