Guest guest
Following message came from Dharmendra... We had to edit out the tail end of the full earlier message from gayatri.....WE REMIND ALL MEMBERS TO REMOVE THE TAIL END OF THE FULL EARLIER MESSAGE OTHERWISE IT GETS RE-POSTED.... In the future messages with earlier messages will not be posted........jay From Dharmendra dhamku Dear Gayatri Regarding Person A - He / she is an ordinary mortal. No doubt, he is blessed since he wishes to be liberated. Regarding Person A - He / she could be a 'nityasiddha' (ever-liberated), one like Swamiji, with a wish to serve mankind for ever. If he / she is an ordinary mortal, we need to try to see the basis of this wish. I believe, the highest and noblest wish for an ordinary mortal is to get re-united with the Lord. As Master said, all duties fall off gradually as once advances on the spiritual path. Service to others should be looked as a means for spiritual growth, and should not hold us back from making spiritual progress. Swamiji's statement, I think, refers to the base selfishment. The wish for liberation, leading to re-union with the Lord, should not be regarded as selfishness. Please let me know if I have been able to clarify to some extent.
