Guest guest
Revered Swami Vijnananandaji Maharaj (a direct disciple of Thakur) was in Allahabad then. The RK Mission hospital's doctor could not come for his duty and due to the large number of patients turing up daily, Revered Maharaj started giving medicines to all patients by uttering Thakur's name (Though he was not a doctor. He was an engineer by profession). It cured everyone. The news spread and very large number of people began to pour in. Revered Maharaj continued his method of giving medicines till another doctor came in. The highlight was - he gave away all medicines in the hospital and even a bottle of concentrated nitric acid was emptied. Lo, it was also given as a medicine, perhaps as syrup (without actually knowing it was a concentrated acid). Since Revered Maharaj gave it by uttering Thakur's name, there was no adverse effect, but miraculously cured the disease as well. Well, the power of mantra was (and " is " ) too great. - This excerpt is taken from " Ramakrishna Vijayam " , November 2003 issue. New and Improved Mail - Send 10MB messages!
