Guest guest Posted September 28, 2004 Report Share Posted September 28, 2004 Cross-posting from another list ... -Girish -------------------- Dear Sisters & Brothers, Jai Maa, Swamiji's house was opened on 26/9/04 by President Maharaj at 9:30a.m.Since morning 5a.m,celebrations and puja had started.Inside the house,havan(a holy fire)was held by Swamiji's of Belur Math amidst chanting of mantras.Big Screens outside the house for public viewing were put up.The heritage building,the house where Swamiji was born was opened by President Ranganathandji Maharaj.Though his health was not fine,he came in an ambulance & stepped in Swamiji's house.He gave a moving speech. There was a performance by musicians who had come from Mumbai for this show.They gave a recital of Raga DRUPAD.There was a monoact & other events.
