Salutations to all! i sincerely hope that everyone is proceeding towards Godhead with break-neck speed! i've a doubt- i've never been to any Ashram nor any of the Ramakrishna Math. i ardently wish to visit Ramakrishna Math and if possible interact with the holy inmates therein. That spiritual progress is hastened by holy company we have all heard and now i wish to put that to practice. But i feel apprehensive on the following accounts:- (1)Will it be possible to talk to any of the Swamis? How should i approach them? (2)What time will be preferable? Will it not disturb their routine? (3)Should i take something with me as an offering and if yes then what?(remember our Master says one should not go to a holy man empty handed?) i stay in Mumbai(Bombay) and it would be of great help if someone could give me the address. i am sure many of you must have visited Ramakrishna Math; please share your valuable experiences. i also feel nervous because i will be going alone! Its a very beautiful and peaceful place. Generally, the temple is open from 5 AM to 12 PM and from 4 PM to 8 PM. Swamis there are available most of the times in the morning and evening and are very informal. By going there a few times you will find out aho is really very knowledgeable and who is not and who can explain things clearly and who cannot. You can ask them any questions on spirituality. In Mumbai, RK mission is in Khar and yu can visit the place any day you like. You can also meet the head of that Ashram and ask him for an appointment for a discussion. You can take some fruits to the Swami at the first meeting, or give a small donation to the Ashram.
