Guest guest
I agree with Joyoti ji. Sayujya (merging into the Brahmajyoti) is only one of 6 different types of liberation according to Vedic religion. Other streams of Vedic philosophy recognize different levels of Reality. Given the full extent of possibilities, the Chaitanya school certainly posits that the furthest we can go in terms of intellectual philosophy is achintya bheda-abheda tattva -- inconceivable and simultaneous oneness and differentiation. We are infinitesimal parts and parcels of a Supreme Personality. We are the marginal potency of this blazing Sun. We may fall into the inferior potency, maya, or take shelter of the superior internal potency. But the Supreme Personality is always transcendental. In this view, advaita by itself is too simplistic, and does not culminate in the most mature fruit of the spiritual tree. Adherents of the Chaitanya school endeavour to transcend material existence and false ego, and to take on a spiritual mind and body and retain a purified ego in order to engage in loving devotional service and exchange of pure love with the Divine Personality. This is just my understanding.
