Guest guest
Hello Friends, I would like to thank everybody who took the time of answering my query. I would just like to add that the reason for posting the earlier message was not have an intellectual excercise but, as Mihaela pointed out, to learn and make my faith stronger from facing each doubt. My question was a reflection of my insecurity of what will happen if I am unable to succeed in realzing God in this life. Probably one of my bodily successors will finally manage to go to Ramakrishnaloka but will I get that chance too? Or will I be just someone who was born in ingnorance and died an ignorant (having no experience of the fact that I am the soul and not body). The desire to meet Swamiji is of this body(mind). It is these ears that want to hear his voice and these eyes that want to see him. Even realization is the desire of the body (which wants deliverance from suffering) becasue the soul doesn't desire anything. It knows it is one with God, only the mind needs to 'realize' that and probably that is why sometimes realization is called an illusion. But would merely saying " I am the soul " or " Realization is an illsuion " help? What is that we are all striving for then and having these discussions for? I feel unless I experience my soul I can't assert I am the soul and if I don't achieve it in this lifetime I fear that Siddharth(the mind) would be lost forever and his soul will occupy another mind-body complex who will succeed eventually but for Siddharth there are no second chances. I have, very wisely, been advised to ask all these question to Swamiji himself when he comes to visit me and that makes a lot of sense to me. Thank you again for your consideration. love and regards, Siddharth

Swamiji has answered every question that can be asked. The Song of the Sanyasin is the very essence of it: http://kaustubh88.tripod.com/sos.html Where seekest thou? That freedom, friend, this world Nor that can give. In books and temples vain Thy search. Thine only is the hand that holds The rope that drags thee on. Then cease lament, Let go thy hold, Sannyasin bold! Say? " Om Tat Sat, Om! " Regards, Sunder
